Language courses are an integral component of the undergraduate degree programs offered by the English Department. The courses aim at preparing students for academic contexts in which they will use English, at heightening students' language awareness, at exposing students to Anglophone cultures and native varieties of English, and at preparing students for their future careers. Courses are taught by an international staff of native speakers. Altogether four modules (eight courses) are offered. They are described below.
