The plan for summer semester 2018 is to present
The Love of the Nightingale by Timberlake Wertenbaker
Based on an ancient Greek legend, the play enacts a warlord’s brutal rape and silencing of Philomele. Her sister performs a terrible act of revenge. Timberlake Wertenbaker’s dramatization, though powerful and shocking, is infused with her characteristic elegance and humour.
The play has many roles (S, M and L), so we need lots of actors.
Everybody is welcome. No experience needed.
Come and find out more at the first meeting. No need to commit yourself for the first two weeks, but please arrive punctually
