Two Research Subjects

In the humanities in Germany, it is common to have two distinct focus points in research. While my PhD project and first book focused on film serials between 1910 and 1940, and modernity more generally, my ongoing second book project concerns early American literature and questions of the archive. I continue to be interested in both subjects.
